IS JEHOVAH GOD
YOUR HEAVENLY
FATHER?

  Dear Jehovah's Witness,

How often have you prayed these words:

"OUR Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified" Mt. 6:9 (NWT). Wouldn't it be a tragedy to know if, no matter how hard you tried to please Him, that He did not hear your prayers? Have you ever doubted whether Jehovah acknowledged you as His child?

Perhaps most of you have simply taken it for granted that you are truly God's adopted spiritual sons and daughters. Here is some shocking news! The Watchtower leaders say that most of you are definitely NOT children of God! Your leaders ssay that not only are you not NOW God's children, but that you CANNOT be His children until you have passed a test. When does this test take place?

Over one thousand years from now! If you pass the test, then and only then can you call God your Father. Your leaders say:

Hence, before adopting them [this means you] as his free sons through Jesus Christ,
Jehovah God will subject all these perfected human creatures to a thorough test for all
time. Life Everlasting in Freedom of the Sons of God, 1966, p. 398.

The Watchtower claims that you can get into God's family by working for it.

Jehovah God will justify, declare righteouss, on the basis of their own merit
all perfected humans who have withstood that final, decisive test of mankind.
He will [future] adopt and acknowledge them as his sons through Jesus Christ.
Ibid., p. 400

What a heavy burden! Your own leaders say that you are not God's children and unless you measure up to the standards of righteousness as defined in Watchtower publications He will never accept yoou. How is your service for Jehovah? Do you meet His standards? Could you be doing more? If you really tried, don't you think you could put more hours in the witnessing work? How much is enough?

We have seen how the Watchtower says to reach God. What does the Bible say?

EVERYONE believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God,
and EVERYONE who loves the one that casued to be born loves him who
has been born from that one. 1John 5:1 (NWT)

Do you fall into this category of "EVERYONE"? Do YOU love the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ?
If so the Bible says that you have been "born from God". Unfortunately the Watchtower leaders disagree. They say that only a small number of their group actually are "born from God" (see Aid to Bible Understanding, p. 1529) Do you want to follow the Bible or the Watchtower?

Do you have the ASSURANCE of everlasting life? The Bible says:

And this is the witness given, that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is
in His Son. He that has the Son has this life; he that does not have the Son
of God does not have this life. I write you these things that you may know that
you have life everlasting,
you who put your faith in the name of the Son of God.
1 John 5:11-13 (NWT)

According to verse eleven, God has already given some everlasting life. Are you among this group?
The Watchtower says that you are not! Do you have the "Son of God", Jesus? If you do the Bible says YOU have
everlasting life. Again, the Watchtower disagrees. Do you know that the very reason John wrote this letter was to inform Christians that they already have everlasting life? Those who put their faith in Jesus HAVE everlasting life
(verse 13). Do you?

Today, many Jehovah's Witnesses who leave the Watchtower are finding a real relationship with Jehovah God through Jesus. Would you like to be able to call God your Father and know you are really secure in His family? We would love to talk with you about this.

Did the Watchtower really predict the end of the world for 1975? Write us for the facts.
