TESTING THE WATCHTOWER FORTUNE TELLER

          Question 8. How can we know if the Jehovah's Witnesses leaders
                              really receive  messages from God?

                                CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT

         Jehovah's Witnesses are restricted to the ever-changing prophecies forced on them by Watchtower leaders. Is it not cruel to teach children that the End is so near that they will never fulfill any dreams of careers in this world? The media in various countries have reported suicides and suicide attempts by the children of Jehovah's Witnesses-all due to their tragic beliefs, especially the threat of doomsday. Is it any wonder that Jehovah's Witnesses are often afraid to reveal their true lifestyle and even teach that it is "proper to hide the truth" about it in child custody cases, fearing
         the Court will not understand their beliefs?

          Question 9. How will they get me to join Jehovah's Witnesses?

          Question 10. After convening, what if I can't handle all these restrictions on my life and I decide to leave Jehovah's Witnesses?

                  Answer 1 .

            Jehovah's Witnesses use their Watchtower magazine for "exposing" the teachings all churches. They believe that both Catholics and Protestants (and other faiths) are of the Devil and what we call "Christianity" will be destroyed by God at the End of the world. If you have a religion, the Jehovah's Witnesses want you to leave it and submit to their "organization negative" religion-in a world of "don'ts."
            Many restrictions are forced on you and your family. You will be informed about most of them only after you have been converted into the cult. Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses are a dangerous cult whose lifestyle has been exposed by the media, especially the most popular American national news program, "60 Minutes."

            As a Jehovah's Witness, you will refuse to pledge allegiance to our flag or stand for the national anthem.You will not vote. You will refuse to defend our country in time of war.

                Answer 3.

            Sometimes the cult leader's control over Jehovah's Witnesses affects the lives of others and even leads to unethical and illegal activity. For example, if a Jehovah's Witnesses works in a medical or legal office and finds out from office files that another Jehovah's Witnesses had an abortion, he must report this private information to the Organization. Through this spy system, Jehovah's Witnesses are instructed to break their word, violating their confidentiality agreements, even though this may lead to a lawsuit against their innocent employers

                Answer 4.

            The children are under severe restrictions which isolate them from non-Jehovah's Witness children. Jehovah's Witnesses parents deprive their children of many physically and emotionally health opportunities in life. As a Jehovah's Witnesses parent, you will forbid your child from:

                       Celebrating birthdays and all holidays;
                       After-school sports with non-Jehovah's Witnesses kids;
                       Joining a hobby club;
                       Playing little league baseball;
                       Joining the YMCA; self defense courses;
                       Voting in school elections;
                       Attending school dances and even dating, except for marriage.

            It can be dangerous being a child of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a parent, you will deny your child a life-saving blood transfusion. You are even instructed to keep him out of hospitals which may give one. Many children have died because of their parents' beliefs. In the past, Jehovah's Witnesses were forbidden organ transplant:  even vaccinations!

                Answer 5.

            No. They have been known to abduct their children out of hospitals to avoid possible blood transfusions. When the court steps in to save the child, the parents "resist and violate court orders.

                Answer 6.

            No. As a Jehovah's Witnesses you would be discouraged from associating with non- Jehovah's Witnesses people ant even relatives. All non-Jehovah's Witnesses are called "bad associations" because they are under the control of Satan!

                Answer 7.

           They claim to know the immediate future of the world. They believe you are "doomed' if you don't submit  to them. As the world's greatest fortune teller, the Jehovah's Witnesses leaders are pleased to teach you the latest revelations of "new light transmitted from their heavenly "Mother." They claim that spirits transmit messages through them, as the "channel" or "medium." Through this occultic channeling,
            Jehovah's Witnesses are told that new truth comes only at the due time. Of course, only the Jehovah's Witnesses leaders inform us when that time is!

                  Back to Questions.

                Answer 8.

            That's simple. If the messages are frown the true God, they would be true, right? Let's check only a small  sample of the "prophecies" they claim were transmitted to them. By doing so, we will see if their claim of being God's "channel" holds up.
         Here are some doomsday predictions:

                  In 1916 they declared: "In the meantime, our eyes of understanding should discern clearly the Battle of the Great Day of God Almighty now in progress..."
               (Was that God's War or World War One)?

                  *In 1940 the leader of Jehovah's Witnesses proclaimed "I stated that the Nazis and Fascists were bent upon destroying the British Empire, and that that would be accomplished." (Didn't World War Two see just the opposite)?

                  In the 60's and 70's Jehovah's Witnesses believed the End was again at the door. Watchtower readers read an article entitled, "Why Are You Looking Forward to 1975?" Because they believed there were only 90 Months before the End! In 1969, young people were warned against college education in The Watchtower: "Do not let them `brainwash you with the Devil's propaganda to get ahead, to make something of yourself in this world. This world has very little time left!" In fact, just one year before 1975, Jehovah's Witnesses were encouraged to sell their homes in order to spend the remaining "months" selling the Watchtower full time.

                  The modern day Watchtower "channel" has often pointed to a new time for the End still ahead-Doomsday 1999. Ask any JEHOVAH'S WITNESS and will tell you-the END is due any day! Were these "messages" from the Watchtower channel" really transmitted by God? You be the judge.

                Answer 9.

           They will offer you a "free" home Bible study. As you have seen, it will cost you a lot! Later, they will explain that the Bible is not written for you to understand without their leader's interpretation. These leader say they "direct the minds" of  Witnesses and desire to direct yours, too! Yes, according  to Jehovah's Witnesses, you should not think for yourself -- as they say,

                                     "Avoid independent Thinking."

                Answer 10.

           You can, but don't expect your marriage mate or children to leave with you. People are being terrorized into staying. They are warned that if they leave the Organization their own family and Jehovah's Witnesses friends will treat them as evil people. They will be shunned even by their own JEHOVAH'S WITNESS relatives. The Society says to hate former Jehovah's Witnesses: "We must hate in the truest sense, which is to regard with extreme and active aversion, to consider as loathsome, odious, filthy, to detest" Would you dare leave Jehovah's Witnesses?

           As you can see, dear reader, life as a JW is life in a prison-type environment; it is
         truly CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT. Is it for you?
